Look at the following pictures! They may look the same, but there are some little differences between them. Can you spot them all??
Find all seven differences between the pictures and write sentences about them. Look at the example!
Example. In the first picture, the clock shows it's 9 o'clock; but in the second, it's half past 3.
The seven differences are:

Nice activity and very useful, not only to improve on writting skill, but also to encourage student´s concentration. I couldn´t resist and I tried myself!
ResponderEliminarThis activity might be a little complicated for students since there is no pattern to follow in order to create the sentences. In my opinion the activity would be more clear if it shows specific structures to write. For example, to use there is/are and there isn't/aren't to compare both pictures. However It can be a good exercise because it gives freedom to the students to express themselves in English, they learn grammar, vocabulary through looking in the dictionary for words they dont know and also the teacher can evaluate their ability to write.
ResponderEliminarHowever, motivation and imagination are been improved in our pupils because there is no pattern. Obviously, an activity with it fits very well with the process of learning but their minds should be free sometime.
ResponderEliminarVery nice, funny and enjoyable activity. Me, like Carmen Moya I couldn´t resist and I tried myself :).
ResponderEliminarOn the other hand, I agree with Mai Villasante, maybe you could improve the activity with some advice or tips to ease the activity for the students.
Anyway, congratulations for your blog!

ResponderEliminarCongratulations for your blog is very interesting and it enhances creativity a lot.
ResponderEliminarFrom one hand, your blog provides us, as teachers, with very useful ideas. It is very well organised and with a clear language, so it can be used in the english classroom.
From the other hand, the activity is a very good idea to promote and work children´s concentration.
